The original dubstep master pulls out two mammoth dub-beasts for new imprint Dancing Demons. ‘Sqauare off’ will be known to the dubstep massive as the latest in a long line of Coki tunes to utilise that squirming metallic riffage that started with ‘Spongebob’ and inspired pretty much 18 months worth of clones. But he’s still the daddy of the style and you can’t f*ck with your pops right? However we’d recommend cutting staright past it and onto the shocking ‘Warlord Riddim’, starting out innocently enough with a swinging post-garage kick/snare combo before making you feel like the earth has just opened beneath your feet with a huge subduction of Sumo-weighted bass that could replace air conditioning units through a fair set of scoops in the bigger dances. Ultra heavyweight, party guaranteed. Tip!
